Nivea Creme Beauty Review.

Today I am going to review one of my favourite beauty brands. Nivea!
I have selected three of the products I use.

 Nivea
Tinted cream. Express Hydration Primer and Nivea Creme.
I love these products. The tinted cream is perfect if you don't want to wear foundation. It does tint the face making it glow and appear smoother. The reason why I bought this is because my face gets very pale in the winter. I had never used a tinted cream prior to this, so I was a bit skeptical about how this would work. To my surprise I am using this product all the time. Sometimes I use this as a base for my make up. It is suitable for all skin types and contains vitamin E. Essential for the skin. It also contains SPF 15 so you know your face is well protected. For radiance and beauty, this is a beauty must have.  10/10

We all like to go on holiday and lounge in the sun. We hate when we get back and our tans start to peel. That's why Nivea invented Nivea Creme! This Creme will aid and moisturise the skin. Not only on the surface but deep down. The cooling sensation of the Creme will also calm sun burns, chapped or inflamed lips. Why not use Nivea Creme to moisturise your skin. I dare you!

Review of Collagen Milk - The Protien Drinks Co.

So, I am trying a new drink. A drink of beauty. A drink called Collagen + Beauty Milk.
I was sceptical about trying this drink. What can this drink do for me? There's no harm in trying, surely.

For only £1.99 in superdrug and £2.00 in Holland and Barrett, I thought I'd give it a go.

The first time I tried it was weird, I must admit. But now I'm head over heels for it. I guess it was weird because I knew what I was drinking. I knew it was collagen. I've never drunk collagen before.
The taste, however is remarkable. Its a strawberry milkshake based drink, and it's packed with all the essential vitamins and minerals the body needs to remain at its healthy state.
I quickly realised that this drink was for me. I bought it the next day and the next.
Now, to see visible changes you need to drink this daily. I saw changes within the first week of trying this drink. I'm on my fourth week now. I noted my skin looks smoother and my body looks smoother in general.

My beauty must have.

Mangos can clear your skin. They're delicous too..

Mangos help clear your skin! They can be used both internally or externally to get rid of pimples and clear clogged pores.

Travel Beauty Essentials.

When I travel, I take the 5 essentials: cleanser, moisturiser with sunscreen, night treatment, lip hydrator, and a body lotion.

Primer. Beauty Tip..

If you apply a primer to your face first, your concealer and foundation will glide on smoothly instead of settling into your fine lines.

Oily Skin. Beauty Tip.

If your skin is oily, consider adding a toner to your routine. However, avoid astringents as they can  make your skin worse.

Dark Circles. Beauty Tip.

To neutralise dark under-eye circles use peach- or yellow-tone concealers.

Skin Care. Beauty Tip.

Place your skincare products in warm water before application, so once applied they'll warm the skin, open pores and boost absorption.

Dry Hair. Beauty Tip.

Black Currant Oil can help with weak or brittle nails, and hair problems such as dryness, thinning, brittleness, or split ends.

Milk Bath. Beauty Tip.

Add a few cups of milk to your next bath to take advantage of its lactic acid, a natural skin-softener.

Strawberries and Cream Facial Mask.

Moisturising Strawberries and Cream Face mask

Ingredients
  • 2 to 3 mashed stawberries
  • 1 tablespoon

Directions
In a small bowl, mash 2 to 3 ripe strawberries into a pulp. Stir in the honey until you form a fairly smooth paste. Apply the mixture onto your face in a gentle circular motion. Massage the mask onto your face for atleast 2 minutes. Leave on the mask for 15 minutes. Wash off with warm water first then cold water to close off pores.

HONEY
Great moisturiser. Skin brightener and lightener. Anti bacterial and antiseptic properties that help destroy germs on skin surface. Nourishes and water dry skin.

CREAM
Nourishes and rejuvenates withered skin. Lubricates dry skin while gently moisturising it.

Beauty Tip. Dry Skin.

Got dry skin? Hot water can zap away moisture. So take lukewarm baths and limit your shower time.

Beauty Reviews. Anti Belmish. Banish Dark Circles. Hydration Primer.

I have my three fave facial products that I use at least twice daily.
First one is Anti Blemish Gel by Witch.  It contains Witch Hazel, which is very good for cleaning out deep pores.  This should be used at night. I sometimes use it in the morning aswell. You put the gel on all your spots and blemishes and it promises to cleanse deep down under the surface and dry out the blemish, whilst you are asleep. It doesn't sting and it suits all skin types especially oily skin.  I have been using this product for over a month now and it totally controls the blemishes. My rating 6.5 /10

Second product is Good Things Bright Eyes. I work incredible hours where there are times that I don't have enough sleep. I hate waking up in the morning and not looking fresh faced, even if I have on a huge amount  of make up on.  I needed to find a product that will reduce my dark under eye circles and puffiness. This product is amazing! It contains super fruit extracts such as raspberry and lychee. The smell is amazing. You use this twice a day, morning and night, under your eyelid. I tend to put some over the eyelid up to the brow for a more refreshing look. Use your third finger, ( ring finger), as you won't be applying to much pressure on the delicate eye area. I noticed a real change almost immediately. The puffiness was reduced and the dark circles diminished.

10/10

Nivea express hydration primer. It's winter! Our skin get more dryer at this stage. This product is suitable for all skin types. However you must check the box as each box is designed for a particular skin type. The pink box is designed for dry and sensitive skin. The blue box for normal and combination skin. This is my fave product because it hydrates the face. It can be used as a cream or as an underlay for make up. I have used it as both.  I apply the cream before I put my make up on and my make up sticks. My make up lasts all night.
Like a decorator you always have to primer something before you paint it to make it stay and last longer than usual.
I have also used this just as a cream. It's perfect because it adds just the right amount of moisture intended for the skin.

Illuminating Radiance Cream & Hydro Mist by Simple

Winter! Urrrrgghh. I hate it.  It's not good for my skin. Especially my face.
My face can be pale and sometimes a little dry. Luckily I found two perfect products that I am absolutely in love with. 100%.

1) Moisture boost. Hydro Mist by Simple. I just love it, it's light and airy. I can wear this on its own or under my moisturiser or even make up. It creates a nice boost of hydration to the skin and I find that it lasts pretty much all day. £5.99 from Boots

2) Illuminating Radiance Cream by Simple. Again this is the best product I have discovered. Say goodbye to pale skin with this cream. It has light reflecting minerals to give you that glow that you require.  It has all the vitamins and minerals you need so it's perfect for sensitive skin. £7.99 from Boots.

Beauty Tip. Teeth and Lips.

Unless your teeth are sparkling white, avoid coral and orange lipsticks. Instead, try red, pink or plum.

Beauty Tip. Face.

Splash cold water on your face after cleansing. Doing so will seal your pores, blocking germs & bacteria from getting clogged.

Instant Lash Extensions.

Tired of having short lashes? Do false eyelashes irriate you? If your answer is yes then read on.

Instant Lash Extensions by FreezeFrame is a product that enhances your lashes. It is the style of masacra but instead of mascara it is fibres. When you brush the fibres onto your eyelashes in a forward and backward motion the fibres will stick onto the lashes creating an illusion of it being fuller and longer.

With this product you must always put on your fave masacra after. This seals in the fibres.

Remove this product from your lashes as you would with make up remover.

It is a pricy product, pricing at around £27.99 from Boots

I rate this product 9/10.  It is my party must have.

Beauty Tip.. Concealer

Try using  Concealer after foundation in order for you to appear natural.

Beauty tip. Eyebrows

Applying a highlighting pencil or powder under your brows will make your arches and eyes look larger and brighter.

Beauty tip. Moisturisers.

Never to rub moisturiser into your face, pat it on. Rubbing actually takes it off your skin and patting it on helps the skin soak it up.

Beauty tip.. Cheekbones

To make your cheekbones appear higher and to give them more structure, apply bronzer directly under the cheekbone.

Beauty Tip. Blemishes.

To dry out a blemish, mix together one packet of dry yeast with the juice of half a lemon and spread over it for five minutes.

Beauty Tip.. Dark Circles. Under eye Bags.

Mask dark circles with a highlighting pencil or powder as it brings light and brightness to your eyes and takes only seconds!

Imperfections cured.. Review.

So here we are in winter. What a drag!!  I know my face is pale in the winter. I wanted to find a product that could make me look like I have a glow in my face.
I decided to go with my two favourite products. Nivea Tinted moisturiser, and Clinique Even better foundation. Now, these two products are different as one is a foundation and one is a moisturiser. The reason I am reviewing these against each other is because of the imperfections it claims to blur.

Nivea tinted moisturising cream is suitable for all skin types. Whether you have oily, dry or combination skin it will do its job. It moisturises the skin all day leaving you with a healthy glow. It gives a refreshing look to the face whilst lightly tinting it to give you a bit of colour. I normally use this with or without foundation. Works best both ways. It has SPF 15 and vitamin E so you can guarantee it will be kind to your skin whilst protecting it at the same time from the weather outside. For radiance and beauty, this a must have.
£3.66 from Boots

My score is 8/10.

Clinique Even Better foundation.  It also does what it says on the tin. It covers all flaws and blemishes.  It is like a second skin. Again it is suitable of or all skin types. This gives you a glow. This makes you feel so much more confident and radiant. It is not cakey or heavy. It gives off a reflective tone to the face which makes it appear both brighter and healthier. My beauty fave.

£22.05 from Boots.
My score is 10/10

Olive Oil body lotion review.

Olive oils is said to be an all rounder. Good for most things. Such as hair and skin. I wanted to jump on the band wagon so I bought two tubs of body lotions both containing olive oil. Both different brands. I wanted to try them out to see which is the best brand.

Let's start with the first cream Kingsley olive oil cream. £1 in the pound store.
Main ingredients are olive oil. It is Fragrance free, so it is suitable or those whos skin is more sensitive than others.  For £1 or 99p the tub is generous, with it's large contents. Very creamy, but be careful not to dip your finger in too much and scoop out more than needed as it is very spreadable. I had made that mistake and scooped more than the required for my skin but I was shocked at how rapidly my skin had absorbed it.

After 8 hours my skin felt super smooth and looked super healthy.
My rating? 9/10.

Now for the Palmers Olive Butter. I thought I'd try this lotion out. I have used other Palmers products before. Cost? Approx £5.30 from Boots

This cream contains vitamin E and an anti ageing peptide complex.
This body formula absorbs into the skin nicely, giving the skin a nice smooth texture, making you smell beautiful with its luscious olive oil scent.
Smoothness of the skin lasts approx 4 hours.
My rating? 7/10
